This service aims to provide advanced treatment, education, and preventive strategies to improve the quality of life of people living with chronic wounds in Brisbane and across Queensland.

The Service is led by a Nurse Practitioner and is supported by a Community Development Worker and a team of researchers.

The Wound Healing Service provides comprehensive assessments, cost-effective and evidence-based wound treatments and interventions, strategies to help prevent wound recurrence and ongoing support and education to promote healthy living and wound improvement.

The Wound Healing Service is a collaborative hub – linking existing wound care services, health care professionals, best-practice and proven research findings, and members of the community.
